Travis Lindley offers expertise and background in the areas of government affairs, lobbying, PAC management and grassroots advocacy projects. One of the founding partners of Capitol Strategy Group, Lindley has many years of political experience and is known as an experienced lobbyist and operative in Georgia and has worked in Texas, Mississippi, and North and South Carolina.

Lindley lobbies on behalf of numerous physician and healthcare interests. In that capacity he works with associations and groups for patient choice in healthcare, healthcare deregulation and patient safety. The firm consults the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology, the Georgia Psychiatric Physicians Association, and United Surgical Partners International. Lindley also represents the Georgia Society of Ambulatory Surgery Centers; the society represents Georgia's 200-plus physician owned ambulatory surgery centers. Lindley consults Resurgens Orthopaedics, Georgia's largest orthopaedic surgical group, which today is among the largest orthopaedic practice groups in the nation. During the 2008 legislative session, significant and meaningful Certificate of Need reform became a reality - Lindley and the clients with whom he works were heavily involved in the four year legislative process, which began during the 2005 Georgia legislative session. From the beginning he helped pull like-minded stakeholders together and formed a working coalition to achieve legislative reform. In 2008, Lindley began working with a group of radiation oncologists in South Georgia.

Lindley has also successfully executed part of a national public affairs campaign plan which included Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Mississippi and Tennessee. In 2007 and 2008 he worked with a Georgia patient advocacy group to push for patient prescription drug safety legislation. In his role he helped the group develop and execute a public relations/public affairs campaign.

In addition to government affairs, Lindley also provides expertise in the areas of political and grassroots organization and crisis management, making him an asset to any entity that retains Capitol Strategy Group. Lindley began his career working for Georgia Congressman Bob Barr. In 1998 Lindley worked in the Georgia gubernatorial race, where he worked for Georgia businessman Guy Millner, who was the Republican nominee.

In 2004, Lindley worked with Congressman Tom Price in Georgia's hotly contested 6th district runoff and with Congressman Mac Collins in his bid for the U.S. Senate. He worked with Senator Saxby Chambliss' historic United States Senate campaign in 2002. Lindley has also worked with Chambliss for Congress, Hayes for Congress, Charlie Williams for Governor and U.S. Congressman Bob Barr's re-election.

Prior to the founding of Capitol Strategy Group, Lindley worked with an Atlanta based political consulting firm from 1999 until 2003. There he worked closely with the firm's senior consultants. He also served as the firm's comptroller before ultimately becoming a partner.

Lindley is a graduate of the University of West Georgia, where he majored in Communications and minored in Political Science.
