Jim Arnold has broad political and public policy experience, both in Texas and nationally, and has used his experience to build a successful public affairs consulting business.

Arnold’s past and current public affairs client list includes major corporations such as United Parcel Service, SBC, BMC Software, Inc., as well as hospitals, non-profit organizations and city and state government agencies. 

Arnold opened his own public affairs consulting firm after managing the 1998 Lieutenant Governor campaign for current Governor Rick Perry, the first Republican elected Lt. Governor since Reconstruction. 

From 1990 to 1994, Arnold was involved in national politics in Washington D.C., working for the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) and the National Republican Senatorial Committee.  Since the mid-80’s, Arnold has worked in numerous statewide political campaigns in Texas.

Before entering politics, he worked for the Texas Legislature and the Texas Governor's Office. Arnold received a B.A. from Texas A & M University and a M.P.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.
